Nickname: That was it. I usually use this name on the net, so for all intents and purposes...
Likes: Paganism, swimming, reading, writing, sleeping, anime, sleeping.
Dislikes: Spiders, broken promises, soap operas, drama queens, bitchiness, extremism.
Strengths: I have clear ideas about what I want, I don't procrastinate (and therefore have good time management), I am usually self-controlled emotionally (at least in public), I'm open-minded, and I'm good at keeping physical fitness up.
Weaknesses: Impatience is my worst point (I don't mean impatience over waiting in line or anything; it's more to do with me. If I want something bigger, like a change in how well I can do a task, I want to be better at it -now- despite knowing that it does in fact take not only hard work but also time). I'm also moody and can be very shy when it comes to people I don't know.
Hobbies & talents: Hobbies are pretty much the same as in 'likes', really. And Swimming is probably my best talent. And I'd like to think I can write reasonably well (although that depends on what other people like to read).
Pet peeves: People who have only one view point and stick to it just because they believe they have the moral highground. Also, I don't like loud and ostentatious people, or people who depend on others for their personal happiness.
Color: Deep blues, black.
Animal: Wolf, cat.
THIS OR THAT;
Mature or immature? I can be both, but I'll go with mature.
Introverted or extroverted? Definitely introverted.
Leader or follower? Follower. I lack the self-confidence it takes to be a leader at this point.
Generous or selfish? To my friends I can be generous, but I don't generally go out of my way for people I don't know.
Hate or honor? Honor.
Fight or flee? If I could fight then I would, but realistically I'm a skinny white girl - so flee.
WHATS AND WHYS;
What are your goals and dreams? Why? My number one, long-term goal is actually a secret. But in my immediate future, my dream is to finish this year of University and then complete a PhD. Later on I'd like to travel plenty; Japan is on the top of the list. I want my PhD because I prize intelligence and intellectualism, and getting a PhD is a pretty good way to prove I have both (to myself, not just to others). And I want to travel because travelling is the best way to gain experience, and with experience comes inner strength.
Who's your favorite character and why? Jin. I often go for the self-assured silent type, because I like personalities that are strong but not loud; it shows that someone is secure enough in themselves to be strong-willed and self-sufficient without being obnoxious or bragging about it. I also feel that Jin has some mystery to him, and while there's something to be said for characters who are up-front, I prefer my characters to keep some things in reserve. I also really like Yatsuha. She's strong, independent, can obviously take care of herself, etc. And she made me laugh.
Who's your least favorite character and why? Kohza. I ultimately thought that she proved herself to be a weak person, who couldn't be happy without someone else there to help her along - definitely someone who was emotionally dependant, not to mention lacking in integrity.
Anything else? Nope.
How did you find this community? A link from another rating community, although I can't remember which one.

Photos? (Optional) I'll describe myself, as I don't have any current photos that I'd feel comfortable posting. I'm tall(ish) at 5'10"/177cm, and slim and tan from all the outdoor swimming training that I do. I have straight, dark brown hair (dyed from the original blonde) that I'm growing long, and bluey-green eyes.
